This study focuses on the use of the Global Positioning System (GBS) corrections in the field of UAV navigation, with the potential to operate drones at distances below 50 km from the ground station.

The study recorded the GBS data for postprocessing together with the GPS data from the UAV, and analyzed the theoretical performance of the Differentially Corrected Positioning Service (DCPS) for GBS.

This study is part of a larger research project that aims to improve the use of the GBS in other use- Cases, such as precision approach guidance of large aircraft.
